Seek God Diligently

As a Child of the Most High, whether male or female, I want you to know that if you are struggling with infertility, your God knows; He knows how much humiliation you may have faced, how many sleepless nights you’ve had, how much your heart has ached and may still be aching, how incomplete you may feel, and how much pain you have to endure, but in all these, I want you to know that He CARES very much for you. For we have not an High Priest who is not touched with the feelings of our infirmities (Hebrews 4:15). Also, a song says, “When trouble blows, Jehovah sees, Jehovah knows…”
Psalms 37:4-8, “Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord,
Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.
He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday.
Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him;
Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret—it only causes harm.”
You are probably angry or have been, impatient, sad and moody, but if it’s God you are waiting on, Delighting yourself in Him makes Him happy. Waiting patiently for God would also mean having faith in God, for without faith, it is impossible to please Him. We must believe that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him as outlined in Hebrews 11:6. You cannot diligently seek God if you are offended in Him and He cannot reward you with children if you are far from Him.

Someone may be thinking in this manner: “But unbelievers are not even close to God, yet they have children as much as they want.’ This is true, but I want you to know that there is no seed the devil hates as much as the seed of the Children of God. God told the devil that the woman’s seed will bruise his head. Satan trembles for every child born to any believer. Do you think the devil will fold his hands and watch you? He even hates the children of non believers because he has no idea if that child will depart from his/her parents’ ways at the end of the day and torture him, how much more your own seed? There is no comparison light has with darkness, so we shouldn’t think those who are not close to God have children and yet, we as believers have not.
Psalm 127:4 says Children are an heritage of the Lord and the fruit of the womb is his reward. It is God’s reward to us humans. And comparing scripture with scripture, we see that God will reward only those who diligently seek Him. Do not take your faith off of Him and lose hope in your desire to be rewarded with children. The only condition given for the reward in Hebrews 11:6 is to diligently seek Him! In what ways can you diligently seek God?

1. Through consistent Study of His Word.

When you draw near unto God, He will draw near unto you. We all know we get closer to whoever we interact with on a consistent basis as whoever we share secrets with has influence over us. When you study God’s Word, you know Him more, you understand Him deeper and you rest in the fact that He knows what He is doing and will make all things beautiful in His time. You will rest in the fact that He makes all things work together for the good of those THAT LOVE HIM! All things don’t work together for the good of those who don’t love Him. It’s not enough to read His Word, it will do us more good if we do the Word.

2. Prayer. Make God your ‘Gist Partner.’

Prayer is gallon with God and allowing Him speak back to you. Interact with Him in prayer. Be a man/woman of prayer. Talk to Him when you are sad, when you are happy, when things go well, when things look bleak, talk to Him during the highs and lows, talk to Him like you’d talk to a friend who knows a lot about you. The truth is God knows all about you, even things you didn’t know about your own self. The Bible says that we should lift up holy hands and pray everywhere without wrath or doubting, 1 Timothy 2:8. I know some people love incredibly busy lives and have tight schedules, but it’s only right to fit those schedules around God. He knows our hearts and knows His rating on our lives and He knows where to place us on His list of those whose prayers should be answered because He sees our heart beats for Him. God won’t force Himself on any of us and that’s why He leaves us with the option of drawing near to Him and if we do, He will draw near to us.

3. Fasting.

This aspect of the Christian’s walk sharpens our spirit man. You’d find that you may even pray better and are able to break away from certain addictions when you fast often. Did you know some things we may be addicted to can rob us of the ability to conceive and carry to term? There are certain foods and habits you may be addicted to, having tried all in your power to stop but are not able to that fasting can help you conquer for good. When you fast, you must pray. When you fast, you must watch your tongue, association, places you go, just so you don’t make a mess of that fast and gain nothing at the end of the day. Fasting will help you have a peaceable and quiet spirit. Fasting helps you see into the realms of the unseen. When you fast and place God at the center of it, He will draw closer to you and no good thing, including children will He withhold from you.In all these, we must ensure we even have a relationship with God before seeking Him. It is only the effectual fervent prayer of a RIGHTEOUS person that avails much. You know within yourself if you live right or not. You know if there are things you are dealing with that God doesn’t like. If you’d ever deceive anyone, never deceive your own self and certainly, you can’t deceive God. Give your life to Christ if you have yet to do so and begin building your relationship with Him. You will not be stranded in Jesus name.

4. Praying in the Holy Ghost.

This is as simple as it sounds, when you pray in the Holy Ghost, it is your spirit that prays and your spirit becomes active.

If You Don’t Give Up The Opposition Will.
